Stage 0 — Cygnet district map
Live LIST planning + cadastral data for the whole district
This map pulls directly from theLIST (Tasmania's official mapping service) at render time — it is not a static clip. It shows the Cygnet township and surrounds, not just our parcel's neighbourhood, so you can see where title 51123/1 sits in the wider district. Stage 0 — research only; no planning conclusion is drawn here.

What's on the map
- Base layers — LIST Topographic tiles (default), LIST Orthophoto aerial imagery, OpenStreetMap fallback.
- Planning scheme zones — Tasmanian Planning Scheme zone polygons, live from LIST's
Public/PlanningOnlineservice (layer 13). - Code overlays — hazard/environmental code overlays from the same live service (layer 14), dashed outline.
- Cadastral parcels — live parcel boundaries from
Public/CadastreParcels(layer 0). - Tasmanian Reserve Estate — reserve/conservation land from
Public/CadastreAndAdministrative(layer 29). - TASVEG 5.0 vegetation — from
Public/NaturalEnvironmentV2(layer 9); this LIST layer only renders once you're zoomed in past roughly 1:100,000 scale (a LIST-side minScale limit, not a bug here) — zoom in on the parcel to see it appear. - Our parcel — a marker + rectangle at title 51123/1's real bounding box, computed from the atlas's own clipped parcel boundary (site/atlas/parcels.json), not a guessed coordinate.
What was tested and dropped
- None dropped — every overlay candidate curl-tested (planning zones, code overlays, cadastral parcels, reserve estate, TASVEG) returned a real, non-error image from theLIST and is included above.
